This portable Turnkeys, automated non destructive inspection system is a fully integrated solution for high-speed scanning and Ultrasonic (UT) inspection requirements of large steel structures. The system uses a water column transducer and water coupling. A mechanical device allows the transducer to follow small surface obstacles or weld seams.

The configuration of the robot can be changed in order to obtain B-Scan profiles (thickness versus length) or C-Scan imaging (corrosion and / or erosion surfaces, detection / localization / characterization of indications, cracks...).

This system is mainly focused on Ultrasonic analysis for pipes (internal or external) as well as plate geometries, walls, roofs or bottoms of vessels.

The PC based system performs automated data acquisition and real time data display and analysis. All settings and data are recordable for further post-analysis. An integrated reporting option allows MS EXCEL^® data exportation and presentation.
