Manual or motorized manipulator

The manual manipulator provides a double angle adjustment to keep the transducer always perpendicular to the test surface. It has 2 knobs in both directions and stickers to display the angle.




 

The motorized manipulator provides a single angle motion and a rotation. It is driven by stepper motors and controlled by the software 

Manual XY or motorized scanners XY-2 are light frames composed of two axes of perpendicular motion used to build C-Scans on plane surfaces. A simple and adaptive mechanics allows to fix a contact transducer, a squirter, or dry coupling transducers. The end of the arm can angulate on 360 °. A central box contains encoders offering a position resolution of 50μm and stepper motors in the case of a motorized scanner.

The scanners are provided with suction cups or magnets for a simple and fast installation on surfaces of different nature (composite, metal or other).  Other sensors can be used with these manipulators analyse surfaces (Eddy Current probes, optical probes, other…)

These scanners can be  connected on portable systems like POCKET UT, ULTRAPAC system of range NDTA, or any other systems providing encoder inputs.
 

Turnable

Turntable can be provided with diameter of 350 mm or 450 mm for load up to 91 kg. It can be installed on the bottom of the tank with motorization outside.

Transducers

Any kind of transducers can be provided with ULTRAPAC system, with different diameters, frequencies, bandwidths, sensitivities, depending on applications..


Immersion transducers can be provided with spherical or cylindrical focusing.
